The BEST movie ever for this year... the CGI, the sound, the storyline was GREAT!!! This movie gave me goosebumps. I watches this movie with Izzat, we Q almost half hour before we got the tickets. But it worth it.. Really worth it....
In 2009, American geologist Adrian Helmsley meets his friend, Doctor Satnam Tsurutani, in India. Satnam has discovered that neutrinos from a massive solar flares are acting as microwaves, causing the temperature of the Earth's core to increase rapidly. Adrian informs White House Chief of Staff Carl Anheuser and US President Thomas Wilson that this will instigate a catastrophic chain of natural disasters. At the G8 summit in 2010, other heads of state and heads of government are made aware of the situation. They begin a secret project intended to ensure humanity survives, choosing 400,000 people to board a series of gigantic ships to be constructed in the Himalayas. To help fund the venture, additional individuals are allowed to purchase tickets for one billion euros apiece. In 2011, the Mona Lisa is stored away in a bunker in Switzerland for unknown reasons and replaced with a decoy, a command from the art museum curator. Months later, the curator is talking on the phone to his co-worker about blowing "the secret" when the connection is lost and his car explodes. In 2012, Jackson Curtis (John Cusack) is a writer in Los Angeles who works part-time as a limousine driver for wealthy Russian businessman Yuri Karpov. Jackson's ex-wife Kate (Amanda Peet) and their children Noah and Lily live with her boyfriend, plastic surgeon and amateur pilot Gordon Silberman. Jackson takes Noah and Lily on a camping trip to Yellowstone National Park, where they meet Charlie Frost, a conspiracy theorist living as a hermit and hosting a radio show from the park. As millions begin dying in apocalyptic earthquakes worldwide, the group flies to Yellowstone to retrieve Charlie's map. The group narrowly escapes as the Yellowstone Caldera erupts. Charlie, who stayed behind to broadcast the eruption, is killed by the blast. Learning the ships are in China, the group lands in Las Vegas, where they meet Yuri, his sons, girlfriend Tamara, and pilot Sasha. They join the group and secure an aircraft, fleeing Las Vegas as it is destroyed. The groupflies to China, passing Hawaii as it is obliterated by volcanic eruptions. Also bound for the ships aboard Air Force One are Anheuser, Adrian, and First Daughter Laura Wilson. President Wilson decides to remain in Washington D.C. and is soon killed by a giant tsunami that sends the USS John F. KennedyWhite House. With the Vice President presumed dead and the Speaker of the United States House of Representatives missing, Anheuser appoints himself acting president. A while later, the St. Peter's Basilica crumbles into oblivion, killing thousands in prayer. crashing into the
Arriving in China in a crash-landing that kills Sasha, Yuri and his sons are taken to the ships, stranding the Curtis family, Gordon, and Tamara, who do not possess tickets. After leaving the crash site, the group is picked up by Nima, a Buddhist monk. They sneak into an ark through its hydraulics chamber with the help of Nima's brother Tenzin, a welder for the ark project. Meanwhile, Satnam and his family are stranded in India after their airlift fails to arrive. In his last moments, Satnam calls Adrian, informing him that a 1500 meter high, uncharted tsunami is engulfing India and heading towards the arks. Anheuser orders the arks sealed, trapping thousands outside. Adrian convinces the G8 leaders to let the remaining people board. As the ark's boarding gate is lowered and then raised, Yuri falls to his death getting his two sons aboard. Gordon falls between the gears and is killed. The drill then falls and becomes lodged between the gates, preventing the gates closing and rendering the ship unable to start its engines. The tsunami begins flooding the ark, setting it adrift. Tamara is drowned by the floodwaters. Jackson and Noah manage to free the drill from the closing mechanism. The crew soon regain control of the ark, barely preventing a fatal collision with Mount Everest.
27 days later, the floodwater from the tsunamis recedes, satellite data shows that Africa rose in relation to sea level, and the Drakensberg mountains in KwaZulu Natal are now the highest on the planet. As three arks set sail for the Cape of Good Hope, Jackson reconciles with his family and Adrian starts a relationship with Laura. The movie ends with a view of the displaced Earth, most continents underwater.
Watched film JENNIFER'S BODY at GSC Times Square with Ila & Udi... BORING.... VERY, VERY BORING.... Not worth it...
Synopsis: Insecure bookworm Anita "Needy" Lesnicki (Amanda Seyfried) and arrogant, popular flag girlJennifer Check (Megan Fox) have been best friends "since the sandbox" and wear matching heart-shaped lockets engraved with the initials BFF to signify this bond, although they share little in common. One night, Jennifer insists Needy come to a local dive bar to attend a concert by indie rock band Low Shoulder, where Jennifer soon develops a crush on their lead singer, Nikolai Wolf (Adam Brody). While flirting with Jennifer, Nikolai concludes that she is a virgin. As the band begins to perform one of their songs, a suspicious fire engulfs the bar. Needy saves a somewhat intoxicated and shocked Jennifer, who, against Needy's wishes, ends up leaving with the band; they take her into the woods, where she learns that the band is desperate for wealth and fame, resorting to making her their sacrifice to Satan, exchanging a virgin for their success. However, as Jennifer is in fact not a virgin when Nikolai murders her, a demonic spirit takes over her body with all her memories still intact after Nikolai and the band leave. Later that evening, Jennifer appears at Needy's house, covered in blood. She resists attacking a terrified Needy and instead roams into the kitchen, where she tries to eat food from the refrigerator; unable to digest the matter, she vomits a trail of black ferromagnetic fluid.[9] She then leaves the house in a hurry as Needy calls after her. Needy, left frightened and alone, believes something horrible has happened to Jennifer.
The following morning, Jennifer appears fine, and the small town is devastated by the tragic loss of the young people the night of the fire. A day later, she kills the school's football captain. A month after the incident, Jennifer is beginning to look pale and tired. That day, Colin (Kyle Gallner) asks her on a date and that night she kills him brutally while Needy and her boyfriend Chip (Johnny Simmons) have sex. Needy, with sort of a psychic connection to Jennifer, senses that something awful has happened and leaves Chip's house in a panic. While driving, she almost runs over Jennifer, who is covered in Colin's blood and seems monster-like. Needy rushes home and tries to ease her horrifying thoughts of Jennifer by going to bed. There she finds Jennifer, who, after teasing her with a long and passionate kiss, explains what happened the night after she left the bar with the band. She even shows Needy what happens when she is "full" (as this is her most powerful state); she cuts herself across the arm, and the cut heals almost immediately. After suggesting that Needy is delusional and may need professional help when she questions Jennifer about this new power, Needy tells her to leave. Though initially reluctant to oblige her, suggesting they can continue their romantic encounter, Jennifer jumps out of the second-story window and vanishes.
The next day at school, the news of a death of yet another classmate stuns the town. Needy goes to the occult section of the library to do research and finds out that Jennifer is a demon, more specifically a succubus. After reading, Needy concludes Jennifer is weakest when she is hungry, and must eat flesh in order to sustain her life and appearance. She surmises that Jennifer is eating the bodies of boys to survive.
Needy decides she must stop Jennifer, as she fears Chip may be her next intended victim. All the while, the band that performed at the bar have become local heroes, having lied about helping people out of the fire. Needy tells Chip not to attend the dance and breaks up with him because she fears for his safety; he goes to the dance anyway, however, hoping to make up with her. As he is walking to the dance, Jennifer sneaks up on him, claiming she has always had romantic feelings for him and that Needy was cheating on him with Colin. Chip gives in to her, and they begin kissing. She later takes him to an abandoned pool house consisting of sickly green water. Needy arrives moments later, to see Jennifer feeding on Chip. Needy jumps into the pool and attempts to drown Jennifer, but Jennifer begins hovering above the water as Needy helps Chip, who is bleeding from the neck, out of the pool. Needy reasons that after all these years Jennifer has been the true insecure one, and Jennifer and Needy begin to fight; as soon as Jennifer tries to attack her, Chip stabs Jennifer with a pool skimmer. Jennifer bleeds a little, but then escapes. Needy cradles Chip as he dies, both proclaiming their love for one another. Later, she attacks weakened Jennifer in her own home. As they fight, she pulls out a boxcutter and cuts Jennifer twice, in an x marking, across her stomach, which does not affect her. She then rips off Jennifer's "BFF" necklace, stunning Jennifer and causing them to have flashbacks of their childhood friendship; as this happens, she stabs Jennifer in the heart with the boxcutter, setting her free. After Jennifer dies, her mother comes into her room and finds Needy on top of her daughter's body.
Needy is committed to an asylum for the criminally insane. Since she was bitten by Jennifer during their fight, she obtained some of Jennifer's supernatural abilities and murderous instincts. With these powers, she eventually escapes the facility and comes across the knife that Low Shoulder's Nikolai used to kill Jennifer. Set upon revenge, she hitchhikes a ride, saying to the driver (cameoed by Lance Henriksen) that she is following a band and that "tonight is gonna be their last show". She soon finds and butchers them all.

It is a love story about a man with a genetic disorder that causes him to time travel unpredictably, and about his wife, an artist, who has to cope with his frequent absences and dangerous experiences. Niffenegger,frustrated in love when she began the work, wrote the story as a metaphor for her failed relationships. The tale's central relationship came to her suddenly and subsequently supplied the novel's title. The novel, which has been classified as both science fiction and romance, examines issues of love, loss, and free will. In particular, it uses time travel to explore miscommunication and distance in relationships, while also investigating deeper existential questions.
Synopsis: Based on the premise of The Time Traveler's Wife, a Chicago librarian (Bana) has a genetic disorder that causes him to time travel randomly. Though he often disappears from her life for long periods of time, he tries to build a romantic relationship with Clare Abshire, an artist (McAdams).
Sunday: November 08, 2009 Watched Malay movie: PISAU CUKUR with Kak Ina at Galaxy, Ampang.... Well, okee la.... Fazura really good in this movie, she really 'gedik'... Maya Karin? okee la... but not as good as Fazura... The story was simple, funny....
The presence of great and talented actors is one of the best reasons for anyone to watch "Pisau Cukur". Director Bernard Chauly has returned with this comedy after his first 2005 blockbuster movie "Gol & Gincu".
Synopsis: What happens when prey and predator are both trapped on a luxury cruise ship? Two gold digging girls, Bella (Maya Karin) and Intan (Nur Fazura), come face to face with three Datuks, three Datuk's wives, two Datuk's children, one private detective and one diehard fan of Bella's. Who are the predators and who are the prey? On a voyage that's full of surprises, anything can happen!

Truthfully, I'm not kind a person who watched malay movie at cinema., I more prefer english movies. But only the certain malay movies I watched at the cinema, like the late Yasmin Ahmad, Afdlin Shauki and Kabir Bathia. The movies that fun and full of message.

Could a loving husband fulfill his late wife's wishes? This movie tells a tale of Saadom who is a successful Nasi Kandar businessman in Pulau Pinang. His wife's last wishes before she passed away to take good care of their daughter Mia, changed Saadom's life forever. From a very buzy businessman who is so infatuated with his Nasi Kandar business, Saadom changed into becoming a very dependable father who is very much focused on her daughter's life. As Mia, grows up she gets a bit annoyed with her father's endless care and devotion towards her which at times seem to much to handle. Her friends are also annoyed with Uncle Saadom who tends to follow Mia wherever she goes. Saadom hugs and kisses his daughter in front of her friends, during lunch break Saadom would come to the school to send some lunch meals for her and her friends but this is not well appreciated by her friends because the Nasi Kandar would ruin their diet. He would also be often seen in the school premises in order to make sure of Mia's safety and sometimes he is being forced out of the school by the Principle.
A huge dilemma arises as Mia is all grown up and ready for University life. Saadom wishes that her daughter would proceed with her studies somewhere near Pulau Pinang but Mia chooses otherwise in order she could be far away from her father. Saadom gets panic and have no idea on how to fulfill his late wife's wishes to take care of their daughter.
September 19, 2009, a day before Hari Raya, sadly, my family and I lost one of our family members... my aunt, she lost the battle of cancer.... It sad, coz tommorrow we will celebrate Hari Raya... But life have to move on... Its her time to go..... ours? we don't know..

Today, me and my students went to iPMEX '09 Malaysia: International Printing, Paper, Packaging Machinery Exhibition at PWTC, Kuala Lumpur... Cool exhibition. We saw how to make a paperbag, printing, packaging and etc. With this exhibition we knew now how books were made, what machine to print banner, billboard, what kind paper want to use and etc. We gain a lot of information. We came with an empty hand but when we were there we were given a lot of goodies bags. A lot.. It seem like we went to shoppings... hahahaha... we also been given our own tag, with our name on it... Cool...

We're spent almost 2 1/2 hours there.. Too bad we weren't allowed to take picture inside the exhibition. After that we're went to The Mall (just opposite the PWTC.) to have our lunch at McD and talk... and decide where to go after our lunch. After some of thinking, we decided to watch movie at KLCC.(G-Mie, Hazwan, Zali and Bad doesn't want to join us to watch movie coz they have something to do...)

Waiting to watch our movie at 4 pm,TGV Cinema, KLCC
G.I. JOE: THE RISE OF COBRA, that the movie we decided to watch at TGV Cinema, KLCC. What can I say about the movie? COOL... THE BEST! the actions, the CGI, the stunts, the actors was great! Awesome! Before that, I've seen the trailer.. Its looked great, but I'm afraid the movie doesn't. (It happened, some of the movie trailer great, but in the end the movie wasn't) But I'm wrong.... My, my, my, the movie was great. Awesome! and its worth it. Really worth it...
McCullen and his associate the Doctor (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) are revealed to be using the same nanotechnology to build an army of soldiers. McCullen plans on using the warheads to bring panic. Using a tracking device McCullen locates the G.I. Joe base and sends Storm Shadow (Lee Byung-hun) and the Baroness to retrieve the warheads. After a fight, Storm Shadow and the Baroness retrieve the warheads and take them to Baron DeCobray, the Baroness's husband, for him to weaponize. They then plan to attack the Eiffel Tower.
The G.I. Joe team tracks down the Baroness and Storm Shadow and pursue them through the streets of Paris but are unsuccessful in stopping them from launching the missile. The nano-mites eat through part of the tower before Duke hits the kill switch, but in doing so he is captured and taken to McCullen's base under the Arctic.
G.I. Joe locates the secret base and fly to the Arctic, meanwhile McCullen loads three missiles with nano-mite war-heads. Ripcord pursues the missiles while Scarlett and Snake Eyes rescue Duke.
The Doctor reveals he is Rex Lewis, the Baroness's brother believed to have been killed on a mission led by Duke four years ago. He was trapped in a bunker with Doctor Mindbender (Kevin O'Connor) and learned about the nano-technology. He was disfigured in a blast which Duke and the Baroness believed killed him. The Baroness tries to free Duke but the Doctor reveals he has implanted her with nano-mites (which explains why she turned evil; it wasn't a personal choice, she has been under her brother's control).
McCullen tries to kill Duke but he is unsuccessful and his face is burned as he flees with the Doctor to an escape vessel. Duke and the Baroness pursue him while Scarlett, Heavy Duty and Snake Eyes attempt to stop the missiles and shut down the Arctic base.
Snake Eyes destroys the first missile using his snowmobile. Ripcord takes off in a prototype jet, and destroys the second missile before it reaches Moscow. In destroying the third warhead, the jet is covered in nano-mites and he pilots it into the atmosphere, then ejects and lands in Washington DC.
The Doctor heals McCullen's burned face with nano-mites, but in doing so he encases it in silver. He declares McCullen to now be Destro, and the Doctor reveals that he himself is the new Cobra Commander. They are soon captured by G.I. Joe. In Africa the G.I. Joe team makes final preparations to decommission their North African base of operations, transferring all personnel and equipment to the supercarrierUSS Flagg. Anna (back with Duke) is in custody there until they can remove the nano-mites from her body. Meanwhile, the master of disguise Zartan (Arnold Vosloo), who was surgically changed by the Doctor, infiltrates the White House and assumes the identity of the President of the United States (Jonathan Pryce).
Its 6.00 pm. After we watch the movie, me, Amir, Fara, Jep, Anour and Yana decided to go home meanwhile Izzat, CB and Sab decided to go to Sungei Wang Plaza. I'm already tired. My feet hurt (I wore my gladiator heels). Fara and I decided to go to Masjid Jamek and took LRT, Fara to Cheras and I'm to Ampang.We doesn't want took the bus. Once at LRT Ampang, took a cab and reach home around 7.15 pm...

Nur Kasih mengisahkan dua beradik, Aidil dan Adam, yang mempunyai karaktor yang sangat berbeza. Aidil seorang anak yang akur kepada segala perintah ibu bapanya, penyabar dan cukup menyayangi adiknya. Dia mengambil jurusan undang-undang di Universiti Al-Azhar, Mesir dan bercita-cita untuk menjadi seorang peguam syariah. Adam pula hidup dalam suasana yang penuh eksotik di Australia, mengambil jurusan seni bina dan bercita-cita besar untuk membuka firma seni bina sendiri di Sydney. Adam seorang yang berdikari dan tegas dalam setiap keputusan yang diambil dalam hidupnya.
Ternyata anak-anak Ustaz Hassan dan Hajjah Khadijah ini sama-sama berjaya dalam pelajaran tetapi hanya seorang yang mendapat kepercayaan penuh oleh ibu bapa sendiri. Ustaz Hassan berkawan baik dengan imam kampung, Ustaz Abu Bakar, yang mempunyai dua orang anak perempuan, Nur Amina dan Siti Sarah. Nur seorang pelajar terbaik di kampungnya dan bercita-cita tinggi untuk melanjutkan pelajaran ke peringkat universiti. Malangnya keluarga Nur tidak mampu untuk menanggung perbelanjaan tetapi dia tetap berusaha untuk memohon pinjaman dan biasiswa tetapi malang tetap menimpa apabila dia menerima kunjungan peminangan Ustaz Hassan.
Ustaz Hassan bertanya kepada Aidil siapakah wanita pilihannya untuk dijadikan isteri. Aidil tanpa berfikir panjang terus menyatakan minatnya terhadap Nur Amina. Tetapi keputusan yang diambil Ustaz Hassan semasa hari peminangan mengejutkan keluarganya kerana dia memutuskan Adam untuk memperisterikan Nur Amina, bukan Aidil. Walaupun kecewa, Aidil tetap bersabar dan memahami niat baik ayahnya yang cuba untuk menolong Adam. Aidil yang sangat mengambil berat tentang adiknya sentiasa memberi nasihat untuk tidak melawan kehendak ibu dan ayahnya yang semakin tenat serta tidak mensia-siakan isteri dan perempuan seperti Nur Amina.
Masa berlalu… Dengan berbekalkan perasaan sedih kerana kehilangan seorang ayah dan gadis yang dicintai, Aidil tetap meneruskan kehidupannya sebagai seorang peguam di mahkamah negeri. Adam pula berhijrah kembali ke Australia untuk meneruskan pengajian dan berjumpa dengan kekasih hati, Katrina. Nur ditinggalkan dan hidup dalam penipuan terhadap ibu bapanya yang mempercayai dia mengikut suami berhijrah ke Australia walhal kini hidup sendirian di Kuala Lumpur. Tetapi ini tidak menjadikan penghalang baginya untuk memegang segulung ijazah dalam jurusan seni bina di salah sebuah universiti terkemuka di Kuala Lumpur.
Oleh kerana terlalu gah dengan kehidupan di negara orang, arwah ayah dipersoalkan, ibu di kampung dilupakan, isteri sendiri diabaikan. Pelbagai masalah yang dilakukan oleh Adam tanpa menyedari akibatnya yang akan memakan diri sendiri. Adam tetap mengamalkan tabiat buruknya yang cukup untuk memesongkan diri dari agama. Dan kerana nafsu, dia berkahwin dengan Katrina tanpa memberitahu hal sebenar tentang isteri yang telah dibiarkan. Segalanya berubah apabila kemalangan tragik berlaku yang melibatkan Adam dan Katrina. Apakah kesudahan drama ini?
